About the event

Western Edge of the World will explore songs about travel, seeking, and finding. The repertoire includes two selections by Haitian composer Sydney Guillaume, J. S. Bach’s joyful motet Lobet den Herrn, and Stephen Paulus’ setting of poems by Edna St. Vincent Milay. The main work of the program is To the Field of Stars by Gabriel Jackson which follows the westward pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago.
